Welcome Women – We are glad you’re here!
We are a fellowship of men and women who are recovering from our sexually addictive behaviors. Our primary purpose is to stop our addictive sexual behavior and to help others recover from sexual addiction. If you think you have a problem with sexually addictive behaviors, there is a place for you here. Even though you may be the only woman in the room, you are not alone. Many of us have sat where you are now and have found freedom using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of SAA. Sex Addiction takes many shapes, covers a wide range of behaviors and affects people from every walk of life. Whatever your struggle or challenges are, please contact us for further information about how we recover and other resources specifically available to women in SAA.
In DFW we have two women-only meetings:
The Dallas Women’s group meets once a week on Saturday morning at 9:30 am. See the meeting calendar for details on Zoom info. Email: dallaswomensgroup@gmail.com for more info.
The Denton Women’s meeting meets every Saturday and Sunday. See the meeting calendar for details on Zoom info.
For more information on finding a meeting, search our local meeting list or read more on the official SAA website.
More resources
- The Women’s Outreach List:
This is a list of many women SAA members, who have chosen to share their contact information with each other, to support one another via phone and email. Women can request to join by emailing “Grace” at grace@saa-women.org
- Women’s Intergroup:
The SAA Women’s Intergroup ( https://saaforwomen.org ) wants to support you and welcomes your support! Reach out by emailing saaforwomen@gmail.com
The SAA Women’s Intergroup was formed in 2018 by members of the Women’s Outreach Committee [WOC] (with others), who saw the need for an autonomous service organization focused on helping women in SAA. We took over financially assisting and helping to organize retreats for women from the WOC.
As a service committee, we can accept donations targeted for women’s use (the WOC cannot). We have funded women’s workshops and retreats and assisted women in attending the annual convention in our brief existence.
Today we are much more than just a funding committee, targeting the resource needs of new women members as we see them:
1) meetings,
2) sponsors,
3) connections, and
4) stories of women. Our website, https://saaforwomen.org, includes comprehensive help finding these resources in one location.
